Special Activities

In addition to our regular scheduled activities, special attention is given to a variety of extra-curricular activities.

Children will see the Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus will come visit them. They will get to make many holiday decorations, gifts, and ornaments. They will be permitted to wear Halloween costumes and go trick-or-treating throughout the facility.

The children will also be visited by police officers, firefighters, nurses and dentists who will speak to them about important health and safety issues.

We have magic shows, puppet shows, plays, visits from animal farms and museums and other entertainment.

The children are taken to the library for special story programs. They also attend chapel with our pastor, who sings songs with them and tells them Bible stories.

We schedule field trips and special events on a regular basis. We also hold special open—house events throughout the year where parents and other family members may attend.

Parents may celebrate their child’s birthday at our center with their child’s group, if they wish.

We practice fire drills on a regular basis, as required by state licensing regulations.

During the school year, we have supervised homework time for the children attending elementary school.

Our goal is to provide a large variety of activities so that each child’s interests can be met, and the children can look forward to spending their day here with us. We want parents to feel that their children are happy and well-cared for while they are away.

Each and every child in our center is important to us as an individual, and not just as part of a group!
